Description Recently, the tourism sector has moved towards a new frontier of sustainable and experiential tourism. This shift has provided the opportunity to participate in authentic experiences that can maximize value for local communities and sustainable tourism, and has seen the entry of innovative digital players into the sector.

The project in which this thesis is situated takes the perspective of tourists seeking unique experiences, which until now have been meticulously created through significant and costly manual work to achieve high-quality and highly personalized experiences. This hinders the necessary scalability: in fact, large international players scale their business model by focusing on the on-shelf resale of standardized experiences. The idea is to automate the creation of a tourist offer in line with the market, with the protection and enhancement of the territory, even in sparsely touristic areas, without compromising the quality of the offer, through the adoption of generative artificial intelligence.

Therefore, the goal of the thesis is to study but above all to develop a flexible and adaptable interface by applying the latest generation methods and methodologies of User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) to facilitate smoother interaction between the user and the AI prompting. Additionally, the solution must be tested with end users to highlight the best choices in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.

The application is an integral part of a PNRR research project funded by the MUR's NODES Calls. Therefore, the company will connect the student with the project partners and end users to carry out the activities.

Required skills Excellent knowledge in responsive web development (such as HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, PHP/Java, React, Vue.js)
Data handling on relational databases (PostgreSQL).
In-depth knowledge of user usability, including from an AI perspective (human-centered AI). In-depth knowledge of prototyping tools, preferably Figma.
