Description The research investigates the cultural heritage of the LGBTQI+ communities in Turin from the contemporary periods. Through the use of small data, the research seeks to uncover microhistories by integrating various methodologies such as investigation of digital collections, direct observations, archival research, and oral histories. The project aims to create a spatialized, interactive visualization of the queer urban memory spaces in Turin. By documenting these spaces and their historical and social significance, the research highlights how LGBTQI+ communities have shaped, and continue to shape, the city's urban and architectural landscape. The interactive visualization will serve as a digital archive that captures and valorizes these memory spaces, providing a new lens for understanding urban history through the queer experiences.
