Description The fatigue response of composite plates, damaged with impact loads, will be analysed within the thesis activity. In particular, the thesis will focus on the Very High Cycle Fatigue (VHCF) life range. Experimental impact tests are at first carried out. Subsequently, the damaged composite specimens for the fatigue tests are designed with the Finite Element (FE) method.
