Description Industrial processes are becoming increasingly fragmented. This thesis aims to develop a simulation model for an intralogistics system, which includes an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS), a fleet of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and ergonomic picking stations. Within the framework of multi-agent systems, the study seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of a decentralized management approach compared to a centralized management system, which is commonly used in modern industrial operations.
Required skills • Knowledge of simulation software, possibly AnyLogic.
• Knowledge or passion for programming languages such as Python and Java, for implementing algorithms and customizing simulations.
• Understanding the concepts and architecture of multi-agent systems.
• Familiarity with automated intralogistics systems.
