Description The thesis will focus on theoretical and experimental analysis of the application of mechanical metamaterials structure for strain sensing. The geometries will be evaluated with finite element model and then fabricated with 3D printing technique using conductive polymeric materials. The devices will be then characterized to evaluate their electrical and mechanical response under an external stimulus
