Evaluation of the efficacy of seismic retrofitting in historical masonry churches: a territorial scale analysis
Reference persons ERICA LENTICCHIA
Thesis type NUMERICAL AND THEORETICAL
Description This thesis aims to analyse, on a territorial scale, the seismic vulnerability of masonry churches affected by seismic events and subsequently subjected to structural consolidation interventions. The analysis, conducted using LV1 and LV2 assessment methodologies, aims to evaluate the effectiveness of consolidation interventions, comparing the results of the analysis with observations of the seismic response of the same group of buildings following subsequent seismic events.
Required skills Students enrolled in architecture degree courses are required to have taken courses with Structural Engineering modules.
