Description Topic 1. Analysis of combustion (including cylinder-to-cylinder variability) on MultiAir gasoline engine by menas of GT-Power simulation code inorer to develop new combustion metrics for combustion control.
Tema 2. Assessment of Hardware-In-the-Loop strategies based on low-throughput real-time engine models, including neural network approach, for MultiAir SI engines.
Tema 3. Development of calibrations for MultiAir SI engine control units by means of simulation (GT-Power). Experimental assessment of the new calibration approaches.
Tema 4. Statistical analysis of charge and torque data in MultiAir SI engines for engine calibration development.
Required skills Good knowledge of IC engine operation.
