Description The calculation of the capacity of an additive Gaussian channel is very simple.
A famous result, due to Claude Shannon, asserts that the capacity is equal to the logarithm of 1 plus the signal to noise ratio.
The analysis is more complicated when the noise is not Gaussian.
In this case, we can calculate analytically only lower and upper bounds to the capacity.
The goal of this thesis is studying the problem of capacity calculation through suitable extensions of known results from the literature.

Matlab programmming.
