Description Focusing the attention on the concept development phase, one of the main knowledge intensive phases of the product lifecycle management, it is possible to verify that designers defines a set of technical specifications that should be maximized or minimized in order to satisfy customers’ requirements. This passage normally comes from personal expertise and from a long work on tests and simulations.
The aim of this work is to study and develop a knowledge management methodology able to support the formalisation and the reuse of the enterprise expertise acquired while working on previous products in order to share the single designer expertise
