Description The thesis consists of the development of models to describe the gene expression. These models will be built on the basis of gene expression data coming from experiments of RNA sequencing conducted through next generation sequencing technologies. The models will be embedded in a tool whose the purpose is to detect and characterize alteration of gene transcription mechanisms responsible of pathologies like cancer and alzheimer.
