Description The effect on curing time and polymerization degree dynamics of the addition of carbon nanomaterials (Carbon nanotubes, ...) to epoxy resin will be investigated, using Infrared and viscosity analysis.
The knowledge of these dynamics is needed in order to understand the effect of nanofillers on reticulation process and ultimately on composite characteristics.
The candidate will participate to the production of the samples, to their investigation and to the data analysis.
Minimal expected result is the monitoring of the correaltion between nanofiller amount and type and the kinetics. A detailed modeling of the chemistry involved will be an optimum output
