Description Polymer composites containing CNTs are of interest as piezoresistive materials as their electrical properties can be varied by changing the distance among CNTs, either by varying their concentration or by compression or traction. The thesis work will consist in modelling the piezoresistive behviour of nanocomposites, in order to understand the underlying mechanisms and optimize their properties.
Software will be developed in Matlab and exploits the Dijkstra algorithm to find the minimum path of electrons inside the material
