Description Ad hoc, proximity-based device-to-device wireless communications are fostering new network paradigms, complementary to the traditional ones, that leverages the computational and transmission power of portable devices.
The thesis will be devote to develop a distributed application on Android devices, based on the new Qualcomm AllJoyn middleware to support peer-to-peer proximity communications. Part of the thesis will be devoted to test the application on a network simulator.
