Description Web application automated tests are extremely "fragile": a small change in the page layout may invalidate them and require a modification. There are strategies that identify elements of the page in the most layout independent way. The goal of the thesis is to verify on open-source web applications which is the actual relevance of test fragility and evaluate how alternative techniques may reduce this problem.
