Description Thesis at the Mondovi plant of 'Federal Mogul, a company leader in automotive components. The aim of the thesis is the creation of a global indicator of plant efficiency for the "finishing line" or "pressing OMBM" through the performance evaluation of maintenance processes, as well as the operation of the plant, identifying precisely the areas with the main opportunities for improvement. The resource will evaluate: 1. availability, which takes into account all the stops measurable (troubleshooting, maintenance, tooling, tool changes, adjustments, etc.). 2. performance, taking into account the slow pace of production and micro-stops 3. the qualitative yield, which takes account of rejects, rework and defects
Required skills Fluency in English, both written and spoken; willingness to work in a team. Preference will be any students with experience abroad and in-depth knowledge of a second foreign language
