Description The project aims to develop a monitoring system of manufacturing process in which the use of advanced methods of signal analysis, based on techniques of "computational intelligence", allows for possible improvement of efficiency and quality of the laser welding process.
In detail the project will be supported by the research group of Politecnico di Torino and Fiat CRF experts, and it includes the following activities:
Task 0. Analysis of the state of the art and technological solutions
Task 1.1 Identification of case study
Task 1.2 Design of a self-adapting algorithm
Task 2.1 Development of a prototype of adaptive algorithm
Task 2.2 Analysis of the results obtained from Industrial Test

Required skills Basic Matlab (to be develpend during the thesis)
