Description The use of Open Data by public administrations is rapidly increasing. On one hand, it makes PAs more transparent, and on the other hand it fosters the creation of new services and value from the users community.
However, Open Data users often experience technical difficulties in the reuse and management of these resources (e.g., format mismatch, missing documentation, unappropriate granularity, etc.). These issues are an obstacle to citizens participation in the transition towards Open Government.
The thesis project aims to evaluate the data quality of a subset of Italian Open Datasets available on governmental Web Portals. The evaluation will be carried out through an already existing Data Quality Model.
The project is in collaboration with NEXA Center for Internet & Society.
