Description The boot time in automotive systems is a critical point due to legal constraint and the feasibility is analysed in early design phase of the project when there is no possibility to perform actual measures. The activity aims to define a framework for boot time estimation and budgeting from a speculative point of view. The result will be the analysis of a set of typical boot sequences (to identify the most critical phases and resources, HW and SW) and the development of a tool to aid designer to forecast and early optimize the boot time.
