Description Materials for photovoltaic devices are one of the most prestigious research issue in the field of energy conversion. Given the rapid spread of these technologies, it is necessary to replace some of their materials with low-cost and green alternatives. A great ambition is to introduce water into these systems, so going to replace organic solvents and additives, while maintaining good photovoltaic performance. This work concerns the preparation of water-based polymer electrolytes for dye-sensitized solar cells.
