Description Additive Manufacturing (also called 3d printing) on metals allows to obtain extremely complex parts with very high quality and low working times. However, the traditional alloys were not designed for these techniques, and it is nown necessary to modify the composition in order to exploit the Additive Manufacturing technique to obtain materials with equivalente or superior performance. For this reason, in this thesis, new aluminium alloys with high mechanical performance will be developed.
