Description Aim of this thesis is the analytic and numerical modeling of multilayered composites with interface damages. It is planned to use both commercial FEM and XFEM codes and home develloped codes in MATLAB.
Required skills Basic theory of composite plates. Finite Element method (FEM) and MATLAB.
Notes Possibility to spend a period of the thesis out of Italy.
