Descrizione The main objective of this thesis is to improve an already existing platform for automatic assessment of 3D computer animation assignments. The tool measures the differences between a reference animation and a recreated one. The comparison is based on a set of similarity indicators related to the relative position and orientation of the moving parts. During this work, the candidate will design, develop and test comparison methods for different animation techniques (such as mesh deformation) by working on the cloud of points and/or applying image/video comparison algorithms used in the context of video retrieval.
