Description Lithium air cells are the new frontier in the field of energy storage. The capacity of these cells appears to be at least 10 times that of existing lithium ion cells and about one half that of the liquid fuels. Today, both the diffusion of electric vehicles, both the need for energy storage from renewable sources, require greater storage capacity. The practical problems to be overcome in order to actually use these new electrochemical cells are still many: to improve the reversibility of the cell, reducing the potential difference between the reaction charge and the discharge ... The thesis aims to study new materials via the assembly of cells, and the study of their electrochemical performance, which will be correlated with morphological and structural characteristics of the materials themselves.
