Description The goal of the thesis is the study of python validation of algorithm for microprocessors oriented
to the power train fuel inejection. Placed within the engine control unit, this processor
also named enhanced Time Processor Unit (eTPU) are today increasingly adopted on other functionalities
such as control algorithms and fuel consumption optimization, provoking criticalities on
the overal management of the engine processes.
At first, the activity consists on develop suitable algorithms for the performances evaluation
of the engine fuel injection application on eTPU processor manufactured by Freescale, considering
different software workload. Secondly, the thesis will be oriented to the development of an
algorithm able to improve, depending on the workload, the scheduling process thus minimizing
critical condition of the engine injection process.
The thesis will be done within the Politecnico di Torino labs in collaboration with the GM company.
