Descrizione Today new mobile technologies and social media represent a good opportunity for defining new services to bring closer citizen to their public administration. Starting from public ‘open data’ and using variables such as user position, place and request time, it’s possible to give to the citizen a more aimed and useful information: notifications of new events, detailed information about places, warnings or alerts related to a specific position. Moreover the citizens can report to the public administration about situation related to the region their are living in. Stating from from the analysis of available public 'open data' and social network data the goal of the thesis is be to define and prototype a service scenarios (applied to Italy) that use this data and provide useful services to citizens and public administrations.
