Description This thesis is aimed at a precise characterization of the electromagnetic properties of reverberation chambers. In collaboration with the ESYCOM laboratory at the Université Paris-Est in France, where a reverberation chamber is available, the plan is to identify the resonant modes of the structures (think at the modes as the various resonant configuration of a violin string: in our case the modes are 3D field configurations within the chamber volume) starting from measurements. In order to perform this task, a number of identification algorithms developed at Politecnico di Torino will be used and suitably extended.
