Description The aim of this thesis is the deposition of nano-particles of metal oxides on the surface of an electrode designed for gas-sensing.
The different nature of the powders allows the detection and measurement of concentration of different gases present in the environment.
The work includes a study on the best polymer useful for dispersing each of the metal oxides, the dispersion of the nanopowder inside the polymer to allow the deposition, and finally the removal process of the polymer by means of plasma stripping.
This experimental work will have to optimize and characterize the results by FESEM microscopy.
