Description Several Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms can be used as grabbers, to acquire raw samples of GNSS signals, such as the USRP N210, USRB B210, HackRF or Sige. Different configurations are possible, in terms of IF frequency, quantization bits level, sampling frequency and bandwidth. Some of them also allow to grab signals in two GNSS bands at the same time.
The thesis consist in the development of software routines for configuring the devices and grabbing GNSS raw data, and then in the comparison and benchmark of the performance under different configurations.
Required skills Positioning and satellite navigation principles, signal processing, programming
