Description Specimens of aluminium alloys will be processed by selective laser sintering of metallic powders. Different specimens will be obtained by adopting different growth directions and processing parameters. The mechanical behaviour of these samples will be investigated by fatigiue and high loading speed tests. The mechanical properties will be correlated with the sample microstructure.
Required skills Knowledge of fundamentals of Materials Science and Engineering.
