Description In the context of the research activities of the Internet Media Group, we are looking for a master thesis student with strong interests in tuning/optimizing multimedia coding algorithm for the purpose of content recognition. Experiments will be carried out using out-of-the-box recognition algorithms, that will be searched by the student in collaboration with the tutor. The activity can be carried out without being physically present on a day-to-day basis at the Politecnico.
Required skills Knowledge of digital multimedia signal representation (a reasonably good mark in the “Elaborazione e trasmissione di informazioni multimediali” (ETIM, Processing and Transmission of Multimedia Signals) course is appreciated).
