Description The thesis will be carried out in the framework of a large european cooperative research project (H2020 - Smart Exploration) aimed at developping customized geophysical techniques for raw materials exploration. in particular the thesis focus will be on new seismic processing methods for improving mineral deep target delineation. A set of available routine previously developped at Polito will be customized and validated for mineral data exploration in cooperation with research teams from TU Delft and Uppsala University. Several field data sets will be available for the project

Required skills Matlab basic knowledge is required. Geophysics course with passed exam is necessary.
Notes according to the period, the candidate might be involved in a geophysical exploration field campaign in a european country.
