Description Aim of the thesis is to develop a methodology to reconstruct the deformed shape and the loads applied to a wing structure starting from discrete strain measurements. Based on the knowledge of the loading conditions, control laws for load alleviation (i.e., bending and torsional moments) are developed and implemented at different wing sections.
