Description This activity will develop a methodology to optimize the gear geometries during preliminary design phase in order to achieve the desired dynamic behavior of the components (avoid resonances and minimize response amplitudes) leveraging on the available design space. The tool will then be applied on several different test- to assess the possible improvements and design feasibility on actual hardware.
