Descrizione The research focuses on a Smart Grid scenario that includes the presence of green cellular communication networks, i.e., cellular networks that include renewable energy sources.
Smart grids are energy networks that integrate traditional supply with several small energy generators, including those that are installed by mobile telecom operators.
In the consider scenario, electric vehicles can use their energy storage to power the green cellular network, to improve the interaction of the smart grid with the green cellular network.
The first task consists in setting a simulator that describes the proposed scenarios. Algorithms for optimizing the powering strategies are then developed.
