Description The thesis will take place at the company Tosa S.p.A, located in Santo Stefano Belbo (CN), a manufacturer of wrapping machines and handling systems.
Specifically, the thesis will focus on the following topics:
- analysis of the assembly process of short-run productions of wrapping machines;
- experimental data collection in the steps of the assembly process;
- use of probabilistic models to obtain reliable estimates of the probability of defects occurrence in the process steps;
- design of effective inspection strategies for the production of wrapping machines.
