Descrizione Authenticating a user based on its biometric features has attracted increasing attention during the last years. At the same time deep learning has shown outstanding performance when used for image recognition and classification tasks. Thus, addressing the user authentication problem with deep learning models may seem sound.
Conoscenze richieste Candidate students should have a background in ICT or mathematics. Knowledge of neural networks (including TensorFlow environment and Python programming) is not a prerequisite, although it would help in the initial stage of the activity.
