Description Preparation of porous cement-based materials for energy applications. Porous cement is a very interesting material for thermal storage through the use of hydrated salts. This thesis aims on one side to evaluate the optimal parameters for the one-step preparation of porous cement containing hydrated salts, on the other side to understand the chemical mechanisms at the basis of the process. This will allow not only to optimize the synthesis but also to make effective forecasts on the material durability
