Description Surface EMG can be used as a source of feedback to reeducate people in more efficiently controlling their muscles. EMG feedback may be provided in different forms, with game-based-interfaces being the most suited in clinical contexts. The caveat is how to modulate game variables from the surface EMG. This thesis focuses on the identification of reference profiles of activation of forearm muscles that will be used in the future to devise ad hoc game-based-EMG protocols for people with hindered control of upper limb movements.
