Description GNomon is an interaction modality for realizing action-oriented games that are accessible (and usable) by children with severe motor disabilities. Such children, indeed, can interact with a computer by pressing a single-switch, only. It is a time-based interaction method that avoid the layout restrictions present in the most common accessibility methods, like "scanning".

The goal of the thesis is to apply the Gnomon interaction modality to complex games (e.g., an online multiplayers game) or in multimodal games (e.g., by using GNomon together with an eye-tracker). In details, the student should:
- develop an updated version of GNomon, as a standalone library to be used in various games or mixed with other interaction methods;
- design and implement the chosen complex/multimodal game, with the support of speech therapists and psychologists that typically work with children with disabilities;
- evaluate the realized game in a user study with children with motor disabilities.

The outcome of the thesis, if satisfying and appropriate, will be made freely available as an Open Source project.
