Description The thesis concerns the development of a mobile app to enhance the accessibility and the management of cultural sites and the exploration of the related digital information. The project employs Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality to make data networks and digital environments accessible from the physical space, using the technologies of the Internet of Things to make cultural sites seamlessly explorable and maintainable. The app would then be used on a prototype 5G network.
Required skills • Knowledge of 3D modeling software (AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Blender or similar)
• Use of programming or scripts (preferential languages: C #, Python, Swift)
• Basic photographic skills (use of photographic equipment and image editing software)
• Problem solving skills in computer science and aptitude for learning new software
Optionally:
• Skills in using GIS and BIM software
• Skills in managing relational databases
