Description SEcube™ is a chip developed by Blu5® as an Open Security Platform. The chip is a 3D SiP (System-in-Package) containing a STMicroelectronics processor, a little FPGA and a smart card. The Development Board associated to the chip also provides connectivity capabilities with an Ethernet port. In order to use the board as a secure node of a microcontroller network (e.g. for industrial control systems or cyber-physical systems), the basic firmware of the chip, which already supports the Ethernet protocol, now needs to support the Internet Protocol (IP) for a full connectivity. The purpose of the thesis is therefore to extend the firmware with a library of APIs for the transmission and the reception of packets traveling over the Internet.
