Description The eMergy analysis is gaining relevance as an innovative methodology suited to assess the "embedded energy" of a given product or commodity and then to evaluate its environmental impact. This thesis aims at developing an open-source framework for eMergy assessment, considering a small scale based on the Pantelleria island to study eMergy flows and compare the resulting framework to the corresponding Reference Energy System.
