Descrizione The main goal of this thesis project is to develop an occupancy sensor able to track people flows in libraries, event rooms, shops, public transportation and other environments frequented by people.
The process is carried out through a computer vision approach based on a 3D time of flight sensor acting like a depth camera. The final goal of the project is to develop an algorithm A.I. driven able to distinguish people on the basis of their height and body shape. Furthermore, the project includes the design of a customized dashboard in order to visualize collected data.
