Description The time-domain response of a prestressed Euler–Bernoulli beam under external excitation must be studied considering the prestressing actions in different configurations. The prestress force must be identified in the time domain by a system identification approach considering different scenarios of damage.
Identification must be based on measured displacements, rotations, and vertical accelerations using a data fusion and some clustering approach from Machine learning.
A sensitivity analysis of the importance of different measurements, under different precisions, must be done. The noise effect will be simulated by white noise with different intensities in the analytical case.
The main aim of this paper demonstrates the feasibility of indirectly identifying the prestress force in a beam.
