Description With the advent of new technology, financial services have evolved. Large firms are investing in the development of increasingly sophisticated software to increase earnings while minimizing risk. Using data analysis techniques applied to historical and real-time data, it is possible to develop investment strategies. The objective of this thesis is to study and develop a prototype of a web-based application that captures both real-time and historical options data and provides strategies based on data analysis techniques.
