Description The objective of the thesis is the analysis of new generation of cellular networks that integrate aerial platforms, such as low orbit satellite, airship or balloons, with the final purpose to:
- reduce energy consumption of the networks, by managing load based on energy availability and cost, or smart grid requests
- improve quality of service and network management by reducing peaks
- improve services through caching of popular contents
The analysis will be developed by simulation.
Notes An average score of the exam of at least 27 is requested.
