Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL
Description The thesis foresees the fabrication of devices based on piezoelectric, capacitive, čiezoresistive or triboelectric effects for the detection of mechanical stresses of compression or defomation. The final purpose is to obtain tactile sensors based on hydrogels derived from natural sources. A broad part will be dedicated to device testing and analysis of performace, as well as integration in a final device. Final applications go from humanoid robots to fabrication of biomechanical supports for a patient rehabilitation and prosthesis.
