Description The candidate will analyze the technical opportunities of integrating a power-to-gas plant and a biomethane production plant where the removed CO2 will be used to synthesize green methane. The plant will be sized on one of the case studies identified as part of a 'Power-to-gas' pilot project under construction by the Italgas company. The results can be generalized in terms of potential on the national territory with reference to the biomethane plants currently integrated in the Italgas distribution network. The thesis includes an internship at Italgas.
