Thesis type SIMULATION, THEORETICAL STUDY

Description The adoption of appropriate behaviors by the individuals in a population crucially shapes the spread of epidemic diseases, from airborne diseases to sexually-transmitted infections. Game theory provides powerful tools to model these individuals’ decision-making mechanisms. This project will develop a game-theoretic framework to model human behavior during epidemics and study it by means both with theoretic tools and numerical simulations.
