Description The thesis aims at conducting experimental tests for the mechanical characterization of innovative composite materials known as TRM (Textile Reinforced Mortars) or FRCM (Fabric-Reinforced Cementitious Matrix Systems) used for the sustainable strengthening of masonry constructions. The experimental activity belongs to an international research program promoted by the Technical Committee TC290 of RILEM (International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures).
